Nurturing by Nature sells raw food for dogs and cats (including Nature's Menu, DIBO and Dougie's), natural treats, supplements (Dorwest, Phytopet, Pet Remedy), toys and bird feed. It has four physical shops - West Moors, Upton, Pamphill and Christchurch - and a team with a veterinary nurse who advises on feeding.
Challenge
Pet food is a repeat purchase: the customer comes back every few weeks for the same products and expects them to be in stock and the delivery to arrive on time. The store had to make reordering easy, inform about availability, handle free delivery across the UK above the £40 threshold and support the feeding advice that sets the chain apart in its shops.
