Case study · United Kingdom · white-label for B4B
A social app that puts the pet first
Pet Social entered a market dominated by Instagram and Facebook with the idea of a platform built around pets. We built the mobile app and prepared it for the features to come - white-label development for the B4B agency.
Client and context
Pet Social is a social platform for pet owners: profiles, sharing photos and video, tagging, and directories of local pet-friendly places - groomers, stores, parks, kennels, trainers and accommodation. The app is complemented by a marketing website that drives downloads and explains how the service works.
Challenge
Competing with the giants takes a clear point of difference and a product that does not stop at version one. The app's architecture had to assume scaling and new features from the start: Lost & Found for pets, an interactive map, products and vouchers.
Solution
We built the Pet Social mobile app with profiles, photo and video publishing, a tagging system and directories of pet-friendly places. The foundation is ready for growth: Lost & Found, an interactive map, and a products and vouchers module are planned next.
