Contracts "like building blocks": a legal-tech platform from form to signature
EXPERT.Legal lets businesses and individuals build their own contracts from templates prepared by lawyers, sign them remotely and store them in a secure e-vault. We built the whole platform - from the document generator to subscriptions.
Client and context
EXPERT.Legal from Katowice is a legal-tech service: ready-made templates and themed packages (including employment law and company agreements) from which the user assembles their own contract by answering the questions in a form. Lawyers are responsible for the legal content, and the partner law firm KTW.Legal supports more complex cases.
Challenge
The product had to be as simple as a form while handling legal logic underneath: clause variants depending on the answers, document versions, electronic signature and secure storage of sensitive data. On top of that, a subscription model with payments and free templates to start with.
Solution
We built the whole platform: an interactive document generator that assembles a finished contract from the answers in a form, an electronic signature module for remote signing by all parties, the e-vault - an encrypted repository of the user's documents - and an account panel with subscription plans and payments. The platform keeps growing with new document packages.
